Okay, it's been a while so, big post.

Don't let anyone tell you evaporated milk and condensed milk are the same thing. If you believe them, you will, like me end up making a sort of desert pasta. Not fun.

In interesting news, I got an email from this woman who wrote this comic I meant to post here about. I don't feel bad about it since it took her a month to write me back. She was way apologetic about it, but you know, not like I was devastated.

She sounds way cool, acutally and her comic her comic is one of the first I've ever seen that really gets the whole web comic thing right, at least in the narrative mode. It's here:

In other news, I've started a new job. I'm still part-time at my existing job(www.classroominc.org, if you care) and I've moved to The Fund for the City of New York.

It's kind of a cool gig, because I get to teach. When I took it I thought I'd be doing mostly classes for adults, which I will eventually, but the project they started me on is 2 weeks of teaching photoshop and flash to high school kids. Oy!

It's good though, and they're good kids, just takes a lot to get their attention. Well, it does for me too, so whatever.

Saturday is zero hour for our first recording date with xs-for-eyes. I have to say, it's about time. We've spent to long practicing and we're ready to hit the streets(cue eye of the tiger). I promise new mp3's on the band site, and some general updates on this one.

One last thought. Today, I was walking throught the flower district when I chanced upon a handmade sign outside a store that was covered by scaffolding. Here's what it said:

We are open
inside
