Wow. What a weekend.


Okay, first the anti-war rally. We ended up getting nowhere near the epicenter because NY was essentially shut down and we only got to about 50th and 3rd. That's about 4 blocks away to you out of towners. I posted some pics here. They were taken with my little spy camera, so don't expect much quality. Also, the battery kicked out about one hour into the march, so I didn't get most of it. Still it should give you an idea. Don't believe anybody who tells you there were any less than 400 thou there. The city was paralyzed. I never thought I'd see anything like it.


Speaking of seeing the city paralyzed, we are now in the grip of the heaviest winter storm since 1922, or so I'm told. All exits from the city have been shut down, which is pretty funny when you consider how many people came into town just for the rally. Certainly my dear pals Heather and Reb are stuck with us for a couple extra days. Take a look at us geeking around in the snow here I think we've had enough excitment for one week.
