So, independence. From a government that didn't allow us to choose our own leaders and spent our tax money on projects that had no benefit to us. And that's as much Fourth of July Bush-bashing as I'm prepared to engage in. We went to visit my folks which was great fun. As soon as Paul gets back from Michigan, I'll grab that scanner from him and post pics. I've been really bad about the whole pic thing. I'm really trying to get a life that isn't ruled by distraction, but I'm not really very good at it.
Speaking of distraction, I've rediscovered one of my favorite sequential art sites on the web. It's
e-sheep and it's got the coolest comics of all time. About 4 years ago, I discovered "The Guy I almost Was" and I use it as a barometer for all web comics since, because it's the first one I ever read that got that comics on the web were a new medium. And I guess the personality struggle hits close to home. Anyway, the server seems to be a bit flightly lately, but struggle through it to read "The Spiders". It'll remind you of all those hopes you had for the internet breaking the paradigm of fiction. (or was that just me.....)
