Well, I'm trying to decide on a case. I guess I'm going to be pretty limited by what I can find in Manahttan on Sat. I would order one online, but the combination of the shipping charge for something that size, and my desire to have it this weekend means I won't be ordering online. I'll tell you this, though. If I find one of these bubble-lighted little sweeties for under 90 bucks, you can bet I'm buying that lava-light-looking baby.

On a totally different subject, I saw a girl today riding her bike down Broadway at rush hour talking on her phone. And, she had undone the strap on her helmet, presumably to get her phone up to her ear better. Darwin Awards, here she comes.   ¶ 8:02 PM

What I tried to do was put in my brand new motherboard (Asus A7N8X with a 2gig Athlon and 512 DDR ram). Unfortunately, I'm not writing from that board. I got all the cards out, and everything disconnected, and was just starting to pull the screws on the motherboard when I realized the new one is a whopping lot bigger than the old one. And my case is not ready for it. Well, no huge deal. I'll buy a new case this weekend, after I get paid. And this way, all I need is a drive and I can sell the old one lock, stock and barrel. Anybody want a hundred dollar computer that still plays games real good?

The Xs for Eyes show on Sat went really well. We had a good turnout, and according to my dear wife, people actually wandered into the back room of the Parkside and stayed! People we don't know! That's the dream! I think we're really coming along. Of course, the goal now is to play more than one show a year. Anybody wanna book us?
