Okay, I'm not a big baseball fan, but as a former New Englander, I've been watching this series with half an eye. The 'Red Sox Curse' is something just about every resident of the first few states grows up knowing about. The fact that there's a slim chance it might be reversed and provide a record-breaking comeback all at once is certainly enough to make even the most casual sports fans take notice. And I think I know enough about Boston to make the following prediction.

If the sox win tonight, there will be a smoking hole that I take my children to and point to, and say 'See that? That's where Boston used to be. You know, before the Sox riot of '04'.
